UTTAR PRADESH NEET MBBS CUTOFF
To get admission in Medical colleges in UP, students are required to register for State counseling process which is being conducted by Director General of Medical Education and Training, UP.
Counseling will be done for 85% Government and 100% Private Medical/Dental Seat.
15% Government seat of Government Medical College in UP was allotted through AIQ by MCC (Medical Counseling Committee)
There were 4 rounds of counseling in 2019, 1st round, 2nd round, Mop up round (physical round) and stray round (college round).

Get My University Observations
- Cut off of Round 1 was lesser than Round 2
- In 2019 only few seats got surrendered in Round 1, most of the students tried for upgradation by retaining their Round 1 seat.
- Government seat is only for Uttar Pradesh domicile Students
- Private seats are open for both domicile and non-domicile
- To get a Government seat in Uttar Pradesh (UP), students are advised to prioritize state counseling than AIQ.
For example– In 2019 counseling processthe last seat of Government Medical College, Basti was allotted to a General category student through AIQ was at a rank of 9820, whereas through State at a rank of and through state quota was at a rank of 14439.
- Aligarh Muslim University & Banaras Hindu University is not a part Uttar Pradesh State Medical counseling process. Allotment in these two Medical college happens through MCC (Medical Counseling Committee)
