MADHYA PRADESH NEET MBBS COUNSELLING
MADHYA PRADESH NEET MBBS COUNSELLING for Medical & Dental program is being conducted by The “Department of Medical Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh”. Counseling will be conducted for the 85% Government & 100% Private Medical & Dental seats.
There are 13 Government and 9 Private Medical College in MP which offers 2704 MBBS seat. There is 1 AIIMS but it is not a part of MADHYA PRADESH NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process, it will be filled through centralized Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
There are 3 rounds of MADHYA PRADESH NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process which includes “Round 1”, “Round 2” and “Mop up” round all conducted online. If seats are vacant after mop up then college round will be conducted, also known as “Stray round or College level Spot Round”
To participate in the MP NEET MBBS/BDS MADHYA PRADESH NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process, students have to qualify NEET exam and then register themselves by login to its official website https://dme.mponline.gov.in/

SALIENT FEATURES OF MP COUNSELING
- There is no security deposit applicable in Round 1 and Round 2 in MP NEET UG Counseling.
- Security deposit is applicable in the MP NEET Mop Up round. There is no fresh
- registration in Round 2.
- Document verification will be done physically after the allotment of seat.
- Other State students can apply in Round 1 but choice filling is not permitted in Round 1, they are allowed in Round 2 and Mop UP.
- Seat up-gradation is allowed from Round 1 to Round 2 and in Mop up round also.
- Seat leaving bond is applicable in Round 2.
Eligibility Criteria OF MP COUNSELING
- Students must qualify NEET.
- Must be Indian Citizen to claim seat under Govt./Private/Management.
- Foreign National can also apply for seats under NRI/Other Quota.
- Non-Domicile can apply for B category seat in Private Medical Colleges.
- Security guards and security services are provided for students’ accommodation services.
- Students must have passed 12th or equivalent exams.
- Domicile candidates are eligible for all seats.
- Non-domicile can apply but choice filling will be allowed only in Round 2 and Mop up round.
Type of Seat
- Government seat - Seat offered in the Government Medical/Dental colleges in MP. (Only Domicile candidate can apply)
- Private seat – Seat offered in the Private Medical/Dental colleges in MP (Only domicile can apply)
- NRI seat – These seats are reserved in the Private Medical/Dental Colleges for the NRI students.
- Government Aided seat in Private – These are Government Quota seat offered at a lower fee in a Private Medical college.

Steps Involved in the Counseling Process
- Register online on www.medadmgujarat.org
- Login using your ID and password, take print out of your online application.
- Publication of seat vacancy.
- Merit list will be published.
- Publication of seat vacancy.
- Choice filling and locking.
- Final result will be declared
- Payment of fees via online and designated branches of HDFC Bank.
- Reporting and original document submission at Help center.
- Report to college.
- You can opt for up-gradation.
- Those who wish to resign can do it.
- Registration will open only once during Round 1.
Choice after Allotment of Seat
- Option 1 – If you are satisfied with your allotment, you can report at the Help centre and further to your allotted college.
- Option 2 – You are satisfied but willing to go for up-gradation in next round by retaining your seat. You can do so after reporting at Help center and then do the fresh choice filling in Round 2.
- Option 3 - If you are not satisfied with your allotted college and willing to participate in next round, you can take a free exit and do the fresh choice filling in the next round of counseling.

Madhya Pradesh has got a mix of some very good Private Medical College like Sri Aurbindo Institute of Medical Science, R.D. Gardi Medical College and few colleges which still need some more improvement.
Although MP allows other State students to participate in its counseling process but there is a condition applies which all other State students need to understand. The rules says that first preference will be given to MP Domicile students, if seats doesn’t get exhausted with domicile students then other state students will be considered.
We have gone through the allotment and found not a single seat is being allotted to non MP domicile students in 2019 as well as 2020 in its Medical program. However, few seats were allotted to other State students but only in its Dental program.
NEET 2020 cut off for Government College was quite low where last seat allotted to a General category student at a rank of 42080. In 2020 MP NEET UG counseling there were 9821 students had applied for 3152 MBBS seats. Average 3 students were competing for a Medical seat in MP NEET UG counseling. Which shows competition level was low in MP for its Domicile students.
