Lying in the northern part of the central Asian republics, Kazakhstan is surrounded by Russia present in the northern region, China present in the eastern region, Uzbekistan present in the southern region and the Caspian Sea followed by Turkmenistan in the western region. It is nearly four times the size of Texas, and almost has 1,894 km of coastline present on the Caspian Sea. Steep landforms, hilly plain lands and plateaus are mostly found here.
Kazakhstan abounds in ethnic diversity. According to a census of 2009, of the total population, 63 percent of the native citizens live in Kazakhstan. On account of their global alliance and partnerships, Kazakhstan warmly welcomes students from all around the world. Kazakhstan is an Islamic country and is a home to a range of animals like falcons, eagles and leopards.
