Get My University Analysis

Chhattisgarh is becoming an increasingly popular destination for medical aspirants due to its low fee structure, which is even lower than that of Karnataka's private medical colleges. However, students should be aware that the fee structure is subject to revision, and they may be required to sign an undertaking agreeing to pay the revised fees if approved.

For the 85% state quota government seats, the cut-off ranks were relatively low in Chhattisgarh, with the last seat being allotted at a rank of 47928 at Government Medical College, Ambikapur. This indicates that domicile candidates have a higher chance of securing a government seat in Chhattisgarh.

In 2020, the trend for management seats was similar to that of 2019, with the cut-off being very high in round 1 and then dropping significantly in round 2 and mop-up rounds. We recommend that students who score in the range of 550-560 and are looking for a low fee structure should keep an eye on Chhattisgarh till the end, while also exploring other state options.
