The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) is responsible for conducting the GUJARAT NEET MBBS COUNSELLING for Medical and Dental programs in Gujarat. This counseling is conducted for 85% of Government and 100% of Private Medical and Dental seats.
In Gujrat, there are 6 government medical colleges, 11 self-financed governments, 12 private medical colleges, and 1 AIIMS. All these medical colleges of Gujrat offer a total of 5700 MBBS seats. The MCC handles the seat allotment for AIIMS and Deemed University.
The GUJARAT NEET MBBS COUNSELLING has three rounds - Round 1, Round 2, and Mop up - all of them are conducted online. If seats remain vacant after Mop up, a College round or Stray round will be conducted. Gujarat does not allow students from other states to participate in its GUJARAT NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process.
To participate, students must first qualify for the NEET exam and then register themselves by logging into the official website, www.medadmgujarat.org.

Get My University Analysis
To choose a suitable college in Gujarat, it is important to analyze the cut-off trends for each option. If a candidate has a moderate rank, they may be able to get a Management quota seat in the first round, but waiting for further rounds could potentially lead to a Government-aided seat.
As only domicile candidates are allowed to participate in Gujarat, all seats are reserved for them. In 2020, around 21,000 students applied for 5,500 medical seats in the state, resulting in a ratio of 1:5 seats to participants. In order for a student belonging to the General category to qualify for admission to Government Medical College Bhavnagar in the year 2020, their NEET score had to be at least 28,722.
Medical Admission is a complex process and needs a great amount of pre-planning and a professional approach which can match RIGHT FIT FOR RIGHT STUDENTS.
