Yenepoya Medical College Mangalore
Yenepoya Medical College was established in 1999 and initially affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, for awarding medical degrees. The first batch of 100 MBBS students was admitted in the same year. Today, they have 250 seats in Yenepoya Medical College for MBBS. In 2005, the college received approval from the Medical Council of India to begin postgraduate programs in seven departments. The college is spread across 32 acres of land.
Today, the institution offers Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses in 23 departments and Super-Specialty (M.Ch./DM) courses in 3 departments. The campus is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, modern, well-furnished lecture halls, a central library with extensive resources, a teaching hospital offering comprehensive clinical training, and amenities like a cafeteria, sports complex, and fitness centres.
