A private medical academy called Sree Uthradom Thiurnal Academy of Medical Sciences Trivandrum was founded in 2006 being a very well-settled medical college. It is associated with the Thrissur campus of the Kerala University of Health Sciences. E.K. Nayanar, the chief minister of Kerala, founded the SUT Academy of Medical Science with the primary goal of providing superior medical facilities to the local population.

The presence of greenery on the campus of Sree Uthradom Thiurnal (SUT) Academy of Medical Science in Trivandrum, together with a supportive and guiding faculty, make this institution a good choice. Improvements must be made in patient intake, though.

The college provides 100 seats for the 5.5-year MBBS programme that the institute offers, which also includes a year of internship. All in all, a good medical college in terms of teaching and faculty, and improvements to the infrastructure may make it more desirable for medical students to enroll in SUT Medical College.

In order to provide medical aspirants with the greatest care, SUT Medical College Hospital's bed capacity and patient intake could both be enhanced in the future. To ensure that students receive nothing less than the best, Sree Uthradom Thiurnal Academy of Medical Sciences Trivandrum will soon build sports and other amenities. At present, moderate patient inflow is seen at SUT Medical College Hospital which is expected to scale with time.

SUT Medical College is a recognized medical college in Kerala situated in the capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram on 30 acres of land. This college is only 13 km from the city centre, and it can be reached there in 30 minutes thanks to frequent local transportation that is available 24/7.

Thiruvananthapuram Central Train Station, a significant Indian railway hub with good connectivity to all states, is 16 kilometres (km) away from the campus and takes 30 minutes to get there. Thiruvananthapuram has a domestic and international airport with a distance of 20 kilometres and a travel time of 45 minutes.

Overall, the infrastructure at SUT Medical College is neither exceptional nor poor, but rather average. The healthy atmosphere that Sree Uthradom Thiurnal Medical College provides is its best feature. The management is encouraging and committed to making improvements so they can deliver the greatest medical education.
