Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital offer an undergraduate course in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with an intake capacity of 150 seats per year. Out of these 150 seats, 15% of seats are reserved for NRI/Management quota, and the remaining 85% of seats are filled through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) counseling process, based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) score.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course at RRMCH include qualifying the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for SC/ST candidates), and clearing the KCET examination conducted by KEA.

First step is to register on the official website of MCC. While making the registration, you need to select “Deemed University” from the available counselling option. Thus, candidates must register on MCC official website in order to get Direct Admission in this College.

STEP 2: Choice Filling

Second step is choice filling which is one of the most important step in this medical college admission process. Student must note that the choice filling is restricted to the first round. During Round 2, candidates can only reshuffle or delete colleges from their list. They cannot add any new colleges.

STEP 3: Declaration of Result

After MCC releases the results, students can log in to see if their cutoff meets the requirements for Round 1. Students can be admitted to the Medical College, if they meet the requirements. Applicants may reapply for upcoming rounds of counselling if they are not selected in the first round.

STEP 4: Allotment of Seat

Seat allotment is the fourth step involved in tthis medical college admission process.
