It is important to know that non-domicile students will only be considered for admission. If any seats are left vacant after accommodating all eligible domicile candidates, they will be filled as per the college's admission policies.

Also, Madhya Pradesh has the advantage of being more affordable for MBBS courses that are comparatively lower to other states, which makes it an affordable destination for students who want to pursue medical education without incurring high expenses.

You can have proper knowledge, about the entire MBBS admission process, and step-by-step procedures:

The allotment Process in Madhya Pradesh includes

The allotment process for colleges in Madhya Pradesh starts with an online counseling process. Once you complete this, you will need to register for counseling after which a merit list will be published on the official website and a counseling schedule will be made available online.

Students will then need to choose their preferred colleges in order of priority. After a week, the seat allotment list will be published. If you are allotted a seat in the first round, you must confirm your admission by submitting original documents to the college and paying the admission fee online before the deadline.

Counseling Rounds ;

The Directorate of Madhya Pradesh Medical Education conducts three rounds of counseling. These are :

  1. First Round counseling
  2. Second Round Counseling
  3. Mop - Up Round

If there are any stray vacancies left in the college after the Mop-up round, then the merit list will be sponsored by the college. Also, if new candidates are interested in sponsoring, they will need to register separately in addition to the existing candidates.

Things to remember, to avoid mistakes :

If a candidate fails to confirm their admission during the first round, they will lose their seat, but their fee will not be forfeited. However, candidates who want to participate in the second or mop-up round will need to pay an additional fee online.

Those who pay the second round fee will only need to pay a different amount to participate in the mop-up round.

If a candidate is allotted a seat in the second or mop-up round, they will need to deposit their original documents for verification to confirm their admission. If they fail to do so, they will forfeit both their allotted seat and their fees.

Seat Upgradation :

  1. Selected candidates in the first round can participate in the second round by submitting a wish for up-gradation during the admission process and by payment of second-round fees.
  2. If candidates upgrade their admission, they have to pay a different admission fee online, but they will lose the admission processing fee that was submitted earlier by them.

Resignation :

Candidates who resign from their admitted seat before the start of the second round will only forfeit 10% of their admission fees or Rs. 10,000, whichever is higher, as a processing charge. However, if they resign after the start of the second round, they will face a penalty that may include the entire course fees or the amount specified in the bond.
