The aim of AYUSH Counselling is to facilitate the allocation of seats in AYUSH colleges across the nation and to streamline the admissions process. Equal opportunity and transparency are guaranteed for all qualified candidates. The counselling procedure is carried out online, and prospective clients must register and take part in the rounds of counselling in accordance with the established timetable.

Authority Responsible for All India Quota Seats (AIQ) Counselling 

For Government Sector

The Ministry of Ayush is responsible for conducting counselling for admission to AIQ seats of UG & PG courses of Government/Government aided Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homeopathy Institutes, National Institutes, Central Universities and Deemed Universities.

For Private Sector

The counselling process for admission to AIQ seats of UG & PG of Private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homoeopathy Institutes shall be conducted by the respective state authority.

Types & Rounds of AYUSH Counselling 2024

•  All India Quota (15%)

For All Indian Quota Counselling, there are three rounds of online counselling consisting of Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop Up Round.

•  Central Universities/ National Institutes (100%)

For Central Universities/ National Institutes online counselling, there are four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. The first three rounds i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 are conducted online by AACCC. However, the fourth round that is stray vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Central University/ National Institute for which AACCC will forward the list of registered eligible Candidates to the respective Central University/ National Institute.

•  Deemed University (100%)

For Deemed University online counselling, there are four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round. The first three rounds shall be conducted by AACCC shall be conducted online by AACCC. However, the fourth-round names as Stray Vacancy shall be conducted by the respective deemed universities for which AACCC will forward the list of registered eligible candidates to the respective Deemed Universities.

Herein, for all UG/PG seats of deemed universities remain un-reserved which means there is no reservation policy applicable.

Points to Remember for AYUSH Counselling 2024

1.  Candidates must register on the AACCC's official website (www.aaccc.gov.in) in order to participate in AACCC-UG Counselling.
2.  Please take note that candidates must pay non-refundable registration fees and refundable security deposits at the time of registration, according to their category.
3.  If a candidate leaves the seat or institute, they were offered during the second round, they will lose their refundable security deposit. Additionally, the Refundable Security Deposit will be lost if the applicant does not accept or decline the offered seats in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round.

•  A medical aspirant must have qualified NEET Entrance Exam 2024
•  A student should have attained 17 years age as on 21st December 2024
•  A medical student must have qualified 12th class from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and English as main subjects.

AYUSH Counselling Registration Process 2024

Step 1 – Visit the Official Website

Step 2 – Online Registration

Search the website for the registration link or option. To begin the registration procedure, click the registration link.

Step 4 – Fill the Academic Details

Enter the details of your undergraduate coursework, your college or university's name, your passing year, and any other pertinent information regarding your academic background.

•  For Government/ Government aided institutes, Rs. 1,000 is the fees for General and OBC Category while Rs. 5,00 is the fees for SC/ST/PwD
•  For Private Colleges/Deemed Universities, Rs. 1,000 is the amount to be paid by all category of medical aspirant.
