Santosh Medical College and Hospital was established in the year 1995 with the motto of offering quality medical education to students and developing skilled healthcare specialists in society. It is well known for being among the medical colleges in the field of medicine in Ghaziabad.

Since the year 1996, Santosh Medical College and Hospital has been able to accept a maximum of 50 MBBS students. However, the relevant course was approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India in 2005, and as a result, the college's overall enrollment capacity increased.

The medical institute has set a high benchmark for medical education in dentistry. The institution offers a basic course in BDS since 1996 by accepting about 40 students annually. But the number of admissions enhanced to 100 per year after 2005.
