The admission process for MBBS courses in Andhra Pradesh is conducted by the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada. There are 12 Govt/1 AIIMS, 1 Deemed & 13 Private Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, which offer 5685 M.B.B.S Seats. Counseling will be done for both Govt. as well as Private. Whereas Deemed counseling will take place through MCC. In the year 2022 state counseling body introduced a new seat-sharing formula, which created a lot of stress on the students from other states who were looking for getting a medical seat in Andhra Pradesh.
