Established in 2005, the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) was established by the Government of Karnataka and it is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Furthermore, the college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of medical sciences. BIMS has a well-equipped campus with modern infrastructure and facilities. It has spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a library, hostels for students, a hospital for clinical training, and other necessary amenities.

Having a team of experienced faculty members, the BIMS also has its own teaching hospital, which is attached to the institute. There are a total 3 rounds in the Karnataka NEET UG counseling, initial 2 rounds will be conducted online and the last round is done offline. Which is also called the Mop-Up round.

  • Allotment of Seat : Once a candidate has completed the choice filling process, the next step in the college admission process is the seat allotment process. This is the stage where colleges allocate seats to the candidates based on their rank, category, and the availability of seats.
  • Reporting Process : If you have been allotted a college through the seat allotment process and are satisfied with the college allotted to you, it is mandatory to report to the college within the specified time frame.
