Andhra Medical College Vishakhapatnam is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1923 and from then it has been providing undergraduate as well as post graduate programs. The college is popularly known as AMC Vishakhapatnam. It is also one the most popular medical colleges in the state. It is a government college and started working from July 19th, 1923. The college is affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijaywada. The college is also identified by the Medical Council of India. The college has always remained among the top colleges in the country.
Andhra Medical College Vishakhapatnam courses are mainly MBBS, MD, MS as well as Diploma. The MBBS course takes around 200 students and the duration of the course is 4.6 years along with a year of internship. For the course of MD/MS, around 132 students and the duration of the course is 3 years.
