Telangana MBBS Admission Counselling 2023

To participate in Telangana NEET Counselling, here are some of the essential steps that will help a medical student to do registration for the same. The steps are as follows:-

STEP 1 : Registration

Register on the official website i.e. knruhs.telangana.gov.in. and then login using ID and password.

STEP 2 : Payment

The second step is to fill the Telangana NEET Counselling 2023 application form make the payment of the application fee for Telangana NEET 2023.

STEP 3 : Upload

After making the payment, next step is to upload the documents as asked and download the document verification slip.

STEP 4 : Choice filling and locking

Students can start filling MBBS colleges of their choice once the results of the mock test are announced. Since there can be no additions once the selections have been made, it is a crucial step that calls for wise decision-making. Rearranging or deleting is permitted, though.

STEP 5 : Reporting

The last step is Reporting. After Telangana NEET first round counselling results, student should report to the respective authority before going to the college.

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana NEET Counselling 2023

For all medical aspirants, knowing the eligibility criteria is of great importance. Here are the documents mentioned:-

  1. Candidate should have passed Intermediate ( 10+ 2 pattern ) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Batony, Zoology )/Biotechnology and English.
  1. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
  2. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
  1. Qualifying NEET entrance exam is a must to apply to participate in Telangana NEET 2023 admission
  2. The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET UG-2022 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2022-23.

  1. Age of the medical aspirant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2022.

NRI-Quota Eligibility

  • Candidates who qualify for the NRI quota and have registered online will be admitted based on their NEET-UG2022 ranks.
  • NRI Financially supporting the candidate must be a blood relative such as Father/ Mother/ Brother/Sister/ Uncle/ Aunt only and should submit a declaration to that effect.

Note :- 85% of the seats under management quota category B for MBBS courses are reserved for local candidates from Telangana. While the remaining 15% of the seats are open to candidates from all over the country along with local candidates.

NEET UG Registration and Processing Fee

The amount to be paid by a medical aspirant wishing to participate in Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2023 will be required to be Rs. 6300/- (Rupees Six Thousand Three Hundred Only). Where the payment is made through online mode ( Debit Card/ NET Banking ) then bank transaction charges shall be charged extra.

Note :- The amount of registration and processing fee is non- refundable.
