~To mark a major milestone in women-centric medical education, Symbiosis Medical College for Women begins its first MD MS Postgraduate Batch in 2025-26.

PG Seat Allocation at Symbiosis Medical College for Women: 61 Approved Seats, 9 Under NRI Category  

Symbiosis Medical College Pune, reserved specifically for Women will now be opening PG Admissions for male candidates as well from the academic year 1015-16 onwards. Except for Opthalmology, for which SMCW didn’t get an approval, all other MD MS courses will be offered.

Symbiosis Medical College for Women Pune NEET PG Admission Process 

For MD MS Admission in Symbiosis Medical College for Women Pune, students are required to follow the below given steps, namely-

Step 1 – NEET PG Registration

The primary step required for SMCW NEETPG Admission 2025 is to register on the official website i.e. (www.mcc.nic.in). When registered, candidate is required to pay the registration fee as well as security deposit. Then, need to submit and fill the college and course.

Step 2 – First Round Seat Allotment

After processing, Round 1 seat allotment is announced. Student can then check whether the seat has been allotted or not. 

Step 3 – If seat allotted in Round 1 

If you are allotted seat then you can report to the allotted college and complete the NEET PG Admission formalities. Post NEET PG Reporting, student gets two option. One is to free exit without penalty and second is willingness to  upgrade to Round 2.

Step 4 – If seat not allotted in Round 1 

In case, you are not allotted a seat in Round 1 then candidate can participate in Round 2 counselling. But, fresh registration is required for new candidates. If candidate already registered in Round 1 then no need to register again.

Step 5 – Fresh Registration & Choice Filling for Round 2 

Candidate must register again in Round 2 Counselling and fill fresh choices in Round 2 of NEET PG Counselling.

Step 6 - Second Round Seat Allotment

NEET PG Round 2 Seat Allotment gets declared.

Step 7 - If Seat Is Allotted in Round 2

Candidate must report to the allotted college who gets seat allotted in Round 2 and then can complete all the admission formalities required.

Step 8 - If Candidate Is Upgraded in Round 2

Candidate must take relief from Round 1 college and join the college allotted to student in Round 2 of NEET PG Counselling.

Step 9 - Willingness for Further Upgradation

Post joining in Round 2 seat, candidate can still opt for further upgradation in Round 3 if required. If no seat is allotted, student is eligible for further rounds of counselling.

Step 10 – Exit from Counselling

Candidate can exit from the NEET PG Counselling Process if student choose not to participate further or after completion of the NEET PG Counselling Rounds.
