NTA Released Instructions for NEET UG 2026
The National Testing Agency has released an advisory on 5th January 2026. It is an advisory on updation of Aadhaar Card/ UDID Card/ Category Certificate before filling of online application form for NEET UG 2026.
In order to make the process easy for NEET UG 2026 Aspirants, students are advised to ensure that the following documents are updated well in advance before applying for NEET UG Exam 2026 to avoid any kind of mistakes.
1. Updated Aadhaar Card
2. UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities)
3. Category Certificate
Primarily, students who are about to appear in NEET UG Exam 2026 are advised to make sure that their Aadhaar Card is updated, accurate and duly valid. It should have full name of the candidate, date of birth, gender of candidate, passport size photograph, complete address and lastly biometric information (wherever required).
The candidate who requires any correction shall do so as soon as possible by following the UIDAI Guidelines.
Second instruction states the updation of UDID Card. Students are advised that their UDID Card should be valid, updated and renewed as required.
And lastly, updating of Category Certificate. Students shall also make sure that their category certificate is also updated and valid.
NEET UG 2026 Admission Process: How to Apply Online
For NEET UG 2026 Aspirants, here are the following steps to be followed by a candidate, namely-
Step 1 – Visit NTA Official Website
The primary step involved in NEET UG 2026 Admission Process is to visit the NEET official website to begin with the process.
Step 2 – Get Registered
Then, click on the NEET UG 2026 Registration Link to get registered. Enter basic details of the candidate such as name of the candidate, date of birth, mobile number and email id.
Step 3 – Fill the NEET UG 2026 Application Form
Post NEET UG Registration, fill the NEET UG 2026 Application Form by providing personal details, academic details, exam details and most importantly the residential address.
Step 4 – Make Payment
After the NEET UG 2026 Application Form is filled, you can now proceed to pay the application fees through online mode.
Step 5 – Submit the Application
When payment of fees is done, you can now submit the application before reviewing the application carefully. As, once submit it will not be corrected again.
