NEET PG 2024 Registration

For students who have attained MBBS degree and now ready to apply for NEET PG Registration can begin to prepare for NEET PG Exam that will be conducted on 23rd June 2024. Additionally, for NEET PG Registration, the application form will likely to be released in the month of May 2024. Interestingly, NEET PG Application form fees has been reduced by INR 750 for the benefit of lakhs of candidates appearing for NEET PG this year.

As per the National Board of Examination (NBE), NEET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on 23rd June 2024, Sunday. Once in a year, NEET PG 2024 is conducted through computer based online mode that has a duration of 3 hours 30 minutes.

NEET PG Entrance Exam Eligibility

For general category students aspiring for NEET PG Entrance Exam, here are some of the essential conditions to be fulfilled, namely-

•  General Eligibility - Prospective candidates must hold a MBBS degree or a recognized certificate from the Medical Council of India to appear for NEET PG 2024.

•  Internship - Students must provide an original 1 year internship certificate, specifying the dates of commencement and conclusion of the Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship program. Only those students who completes the compulsory rotator internship of 1 year on or before 15th August 2024 will be eligible to appear for NEET PG 2024.

•  Age – For NEET PG Entrance exam, there is no upper limit set

•  Domicile Condition - Most important is the domicile condition which every medical aspirant must know before applying for NEET PG 2024. So, NEET PG 2024 Eligibility states that candidates with an MBBS degree from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir are ineligible for seats under All India Quota. However, students from Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh who secure admission to government medical colleges remain eligible for All India Quota 50%.

•  Registration Certificate – Interested candidates need a valid registration certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant State Medical Council (SMC). For NEET PG Exam, a copy of registration certificate shall be required for cross verification on the exam day.


For foreign medical graduates, here are some additional essential conditions to be fulfilled for NEET PG 2024. 
 

•    Nationality - Aspiring students can either be an overseas citizen of India (OCI) or an Indian citizen to be eligible for NEET PG 2024.

•    FMGE Pass Certificate – Students who have completed their primary medical qualification from medical colleges outside India needs to qualify Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in India. After successfully clearing FMGE exam, candidates will received pass certificate which is a prerequisite and shall be presented to the official authorities at the time of NEET PG 2024 exam.

•    Internship – All foreign national students must fulfill the internship requirements on or before 15th August to be considered eligible for NEET PG Exam 2024.


Foreign nationals aspiring to apply for NEET PG 2024 must fulfill all of the following essential conditions:
 

  Students must have obtained the basic medical qualification which is duly recognised by the Medical Council of the corresponding country.

•  Foreign National must be registered with the appropriate authority in the respective country

  Candidates who have completed their internship for NEET PG 2024 do not need a Registration Certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) to apply. However, if they successfully clear the examination and secure a seat through NEET PG 2024, they will be required to pay the registration fee to the MCI. Subsequently, they will receive a temporary registration, which will be valid only for the duration of the respective course.

•  MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate
•  Result or Rank Card
•  Internship Completion Certificate on or before 31st March of the year of admission
•  Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Counsel. Provision Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where the candidate is undergoing internship land likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of the year of admission.


Documents Required for NEET PG 2024 Application Form (NRI Students)

•  Documents claiming that sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer)
•  Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India
•  Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized
•  Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate)
•  NEET Score Card
