Krishnanagar Institute of Medical Science is a privately held new medical college that got into existence last year onwards. Located in Krishnanagar, Nadia, KIMS West Bengal is affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).

KIMS West Bengal have a total intake of 100 seats for MBBS Course. The college is situated on a lush green campus of 20 acres. The college hospital has 385 bedded super specialty hospital. 
 

It is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences West Bengal and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

1. Qualification Requirement

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
• They should have obtained the required aggregate marks as per category.
• General category: Minimum 50th percentile in NEET.
• OBC/SC/ST category: Minimum 40th percentile in NEET.
• Physically Handicapped (General): Minimum 45th percentile in NEET.
• Physically Handicapped (OBC/SC/ST): Minimum 40th percentile in NEET.

2. Age Criteria

• The minimum age is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
• There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG and MBBS admissions.
• Date of birth proof must be provided through valid documents such as Mark Sheet, Admit Card, Birth Certificate, or Passport.

3. NEET Requirement

• Candidates must qualify NEET-UG with the required cut-off percentile as declared by the NTA.
• Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible for counselling and admission.

4. Counselling & Admission

• Eligible students must register for the NEET-UG counselling process.
• Participation in counselling is mandatory to secure a seat in KIMS.
• Final admission is granted based on NEET score, counselling allotment, and document verification.
