Zakir Husain Delhi College is one of the oldest DU colleges with a rich legacy of over 300 years. I studied Economics here (2013–2016) and had a great experience. The faculty is good, courses are diverse, and the campus is inclusive with active societies and strong sports culture.
Infrastructure is decent with a great auditorium and library, though no hostel is a drawback. Location is central, close to Connaught Place and Old Delhi. Placements are improving, but students need to be proactive. Overall, it’s a good college for academics, growth, and exposure—less flashy than North Campus, but rewarding in the long run.
Verdict: A great college if you value academics, inclusivity, and balanced growth. Don’t expect North Campus-level glamour, but if you’re here to learn and develop, you won’t be disappointed.
