Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission in SMSIMSR 2024-25

The eligibility criteria for MBBS admission in Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research for the academic year 2024-25 shall include the following-

1.  Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course.

2.  Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology, taken together, at the final examination of the Pre-University Course or its equivalent. In respect to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology, taken together, in the qualifying examination shall be 40% instead of 50%.

3.  Every medical aspirant is mandatorily required to appear in NEET UG 2024 Exam to be qualified for admission to MBBS in Sri Madhusudan Sai Medical College.

4.  If any of the certificates or information provided at the time of admission is subsequently found to be false, the allotted seat is liable to be cancelled.

Conditions to Study MBBS in Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Science

Studying MBBS in SMSIMSR for free of cost required every MBBS Aspirant to fulfill some of the conditions, namely-

1.  Students who have taken admission in the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical  Science and Research have to compulsorily serve in any of the free hospitals established by or registered with the University or allied trusts, institutions or foundations of the sponsoring body in rural areas or medically underserved areas as may be posted or transferred by the university at its complete discretion in total for such period equal to such number of years the course student has studied in the University.

2.  Every student pursuing MBBS in Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Science, will compulsorily reside in the hostel of the college.

*Every MBBS Aspirant must follow all the rules and regulation of the University including hostel regulation.

Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute Admission Process 2024

To pursue MBBS in SMSIMSR, every student shall qualify UG NEET 2024 Exam and then shall be considered eligible for Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute Admission Process 2024

STEP 1: Register on the official website of KEA i.e. kea.kar.nic.in and then login using ID and password.

STEP 2: Fill out the Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024 application form and don’t forget to take a printout of the online application by paying the fees

STEP 3: Upload the required set of documents such as NEET Admit Card, rank card, 12th marksheet, signature of parents and student as well as thumb impression of student along with his or her photograph

STEP 4: After uploading all the documents, a secret key will be given and a student will be required to download the document verification slip.

STEP 5: With the downloaded document verification slip, a medical aspirant can then start the process of choice filling online.

STEP 6: After the declaration of the mock test, choices made can be either reshuffled or deleted but cannot be added.

STEP 7: And when the final result is declared, a student can then proceed to pay application fee.

STEP 8: The last step is Reporting. After the Karnataka NEET first round of counselling results, students should report to the Karnataka Examination Authority before going to the college.
