Bihar NEET PG Round 3 Online Application Opens make

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECB) has announced the Bihar Round-3 Online Counselling for Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) 2025 for MD, MS, PG Diploma (PGD), and DNB (Degree & Diploma) courses in government and private medical colleges of Bihar. This is a crucial opportunity for candidates who are yet to secure a PG medical seat in Bihar.

Bihar NEET PG Round 3 Counselling is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB (Degree & Diploma) courses in government and private medical colleges of Bihar. This round is organized to fill the vacant seats left after completion of Round 1 and Round 2 counselling.

The Bihar Round 3 counselling process is held online and is open to eligible NEET PG qualified candidates who were either not registered earlier, did not submit their application properly, did not get a seat in previous rounds, or resigned from earlier allotted seats as per rules. Candidates already admitted through AIQ counselling up to Round 3 or those who have joined seats allotted in Bihar Round 1 or Round 2 are not eligible to participate.

The counselling process includes fresh registration (if required), application form submission, payment of counselling fee and security deposit, consent submission, and choice filling & locking. Seat allotment is done strictly on a merit-cum-choice basis, considering the candidate’s NEET PG rank, category, eligibility, and preferences filled.

Round 3 is especially important because:
•    It is usually the last regular counselling round
•    Upgradation chances are limited
•    Candidates who fail to join after allotment may lose their security deposit
•    Non-reporting candidates are generally not eligible for stray vacancy rounds

Candidates must carefully review the seat matrix, eligibility conditions, fee structure of private colleges, and fill choices wisely before locking them. Since no further registration opportunity is provided after this round, completing every step correctly within the deadline is crucial for securing a postgraduate medical seat in Bihar.
