All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was established in 1956. AIIMS new Delhi is ranked no 1 medical institute in India, as well as in South Asia. College was established by an Act of Parliament and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS is the first Indian center to perform a successful cardiac transplant ,T performed by P Venugopal, the ex director of AIIMS in 1994. AIIMS, New Delhi is India’s first and only minimally invasive surgery training center, under collaboration with The Germany. AIIMS, New Delhi was ranked 338 in the world in 2019 in the category of Life Sciences and Medicine by QS WUR. College also ranked 1 among all medical colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2019. Government has said that from 2020 session onwards, all such undergraduate admissions would be taken up only through a single national level examination NEET-UG conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).

Steps Involved in The Counseling Process
- Register in MCC after qualifying NEET UG
- Do the choice filling and locking. Keep All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi at 1st position if this is your preferred college.
- Result will be declared. If allotted report to the college with downloaded allotment letter, original documents and tuition fee DD.
- Selection is purely on the basis of merit and rank scored in NEET UG 2020. Allotment will happen through MCC
